Deborah Swanson: An award-winning graphic designer with formal art training and a BFA in Communication Design and Illustration from Otis Art Institute, Los Angeles. She homeschooled her two children through high school while running her design business, Studio 101 West. She lives with her husband, Dennis, near San Luis Obispo, which is on the beautiful central coast of California.
